Para quem é apaixonado por arte, do dia 8 de junho até dia 21 de Novembro a Galleria Borghese que só foi possível realizado pelo patrocino da PRADA. “Com o objetivo de desenvolver linguagens e projetos inovadores, em diálogo contínuo com os cenários mais amplos da contemporaneidade, a Prada patrocina ‘DAMIEN HIRST Archaeology now’, a nova exposição na Galleria Borghese, em Roma”. Com a curadoria de Anna Coliva e Mario Codognato: as 80 obras da série intitulada Treasures of the Wreck of the Unbelievable (Tesouros do Naufrágio do Inacreditável, em tradução livre), estarão expostas por todo o salão do museu.
Damien Hirst é um dos maiores artistas contemporâneos que a nossa Era possui, além do incrível poder criativo o artista também carrega um senso de humor (e irônico) em suas obras. Conhecido pelo tubarão de 12 milhões de dólares, Damien Hirst nasceu em 1965 em Bristol, cresceu em Leeds e, de 1986 a 1989, estudou Belas Artes no Goldsmiths College em Londres. “Desde o final dos anos 1980, Hirst criou instalações, esculturas, pinturas e desenhos que exploram as relações complexas entre arte, beleza, religião, ciência, vida e morte. Com suas obras, ele investiga e desafia os sistemas de crenças contemporâneos e disseca as incertezas no cerne da experiência humana”.
