Instalada no número 809 da Washington Street, Meatpacking District, a loja é um templo sem fim de compras e não são só as roupas e acessórios que chamam atenção – a decoração é tão diferente que é impossível passar despercebida, afinal, já entrou numa loja com 25 mil sacos de papel revestindo as paredes e o teto? Com projeto assinado pelo arquiteto Jeremy Barbour – o mesmo que criou a loja do estilista Phillip Lim -, o espaço vende peças da Balmain, Marc Jacobs, Surface to Air, Carven, Alexander McQueen, Suno, Karen Walker e muitas outras marcas, que possuem loja em Nova York, mas criam peças limitadas e exclusivas para a loja, fazendo deste, um diferencial que poucos endereços podem oferecem.

Phillip Salem, o proprietário, já disse em diversas entrevistas que ‘cada cliente que entra na loja é tratado como a cantora Beyoncé seria’. Talvez os cuidados com os clientes sejam demais – ainda não fui, não posso dizer se me senti a Beyoncé ou não -, mas pela simplicidade e ousadia, esse endereço é um “tem que ir” assim que estiver em NY.
